Ah Sunsets.

Sometimes it's hard for me to put forth the effort to get my camera out and capture a moment. But all that changes when I see a pretty sky. Here are a few of my favs I've taken!

My latest project.

When I was in 1st grade, I moved across the street from this beauty, Lauren Abernethy. And we have pretty much been best friends ever since. This is us when we were in NY last December. We have had some no less than awesome times... but she has decided to abandon me and get married!
So since I am throwing her a bridal shower, my time has been dedicated to turning this....

into this.
Success. Next on my list was to make these sweet cookies!! Also success.
Clearly I love her or I wouldn't be putting forth so much effort. The shower is this weekend so I still have a lot to do!

Reunited at last!

I just knew these 2 would end up together again! (love the band aid on the face Keaton...)Keaton got asked to Winter Formal by the lovely Alison Abernethy. Little Ali has been a life long friend to Keaton and our whole family, so it was fun that they got to go together.

Keaton is going to be 18 this summer... I'm pretty sure I still picture him being 5 years old in a Hercules costume playing with Ali the dragon in the front yard.

The "Nail Biter!"

This is my family.... and we like football!Some of us more than others.....

My mom......
..........and meet my aunt Melanie.These ladies LOVE football!Throughout the game... I noticed that these 2 dedicated fans expressed themselves in VERY different ways. Whether the call was good or bad (as you will see) my mom chose the "Focus. Breathe and focus and don't pee your pants" face. Even if she changed locations...
Now Mel on the other hand.... favored the "What the! Are you serious?! UGH! OOH!" face. Observe. (note the vein bulging out of her neck. normal.)Melanie always makes it very entertaining! However... we all had our own reactions to when Fitzgerald put us ahead with that last touchdown in the 4th quarter!!! We thought we had it! :(2 fans. 1 dream. hahaha I've never seen them happier.And then it was all taken from us.Little Jake was in tears....

Garrison tried to offer words of comfort..."Jake think of it this way. If the Cardinals would have won, we would have been able to say they won the Superbowl. What good would that do?"... Not his best argument I must say. haha Good game.
