ENGAGED!!!!!
He picked me up this afternoon, and we went to the Wildlife World Zoo.... I swear we tried this picture 10 times, but Karl's head was always blocking the sign or shadowing my face. FAIL. haha
We had so much fun! I will admit... all day long, I was waiting for a trained monkey to climb on my shoulder and hand me a ring. However.... things happened a little differently. When we returned to The Vibe (Karl's car), I was asked to put a blindfold on. I thought he was kidding, but when I realized he was serious, I KNEW! hehehe! haha
Blindfolded the entire way.... he led me through this field of newly blossoming roses. As you can imagine.... I was ever so graceful even while being blindfolded. Not... haha I tripped and slipped and crushed roses... but beneath the blindfold I had a smile bigger than you could imagine.
When he removed the blindfold and told me I could open my eyes, there he was, down on one knee. I immediately began to cry as I glanced back and forth between the love of my life, a beautiful diamond, and the amazing rose farm he has always told me about. (Karl even began to tear up... I'm not supposed to say that but I think it's SOOO cute! Sorry babe... haha) So as you may have guessed, I said YES!! Kissed his face. And then took lots of super cheesy yet oh so cute pictures.
After that, we went to dinner and then came home to tell our families. My brothers had been anxiously waiting by the front door for hours. They are so excited to be a part of everything and get another bro! I cried again when I was hugging my mom, and continued to randomly cry throughout the rest of the night. I am SO happy!
Karl was so worried there wouldn't be many roses where we were, so he gave me my own roses for my room! 
It was the perfect day. I can't wait to have an eternity of perfect... and maybe not so perfect... days with him. Keep your calendars open for May 14th! (Yes...2010)

I can't believe it! I'm SO happy I got to be in Mesa for the majority of the fun! Well, Lance and I are coming for Conference and Easter. So I think we need to meet this guy!--Lance said he hasn't approved yet. haha.-but I sure do.
