For The Future

Dear Kacey,

It's me. Kacey. This is just a friendly reminder for you in the future. Someday, when you are the best teacher ever and spring break comes around, don't assign your students homework. After all, it is a break, right? Not just a break from having to actually attend class. It should be a break from everything! No class. No Homework. No projects. No papers. No reading. No stress! When you assign your students an overload of homework over spring break thinking they will just have so much extra time on their hands they wont even know what to do with it, it will cause them to involuntarily cry or throw up. And not be able to go with their family to Disneyland. Or maybe even resort to stress eating and eat a whole bag of twizzlers and m&ms while their husband stares at them in shock. I'm just saying... it's not healthy.

I'll just close my eyes and pretend I'm here.....

At least you have a spring break!! I'm going crazy up here waiting until the semester is over! But I know you'll be the best teacher ever and your kids will love you to death for your understanding of what spring break is. So eat m&m's, twizzlers and whatever else you want!!!! It's spring break darn it!

Yes, this will be very important to remember when you're teaching 2nd graders. We wouldn't want their parents worrying over Spring Break!
